The feast of Don Bosco was celebrated in SIGA Don Bosco Hall.Around 11:00am the feast day Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Lieo, the SURABI Director. All the distinguished guests were being invited and all the students along with the entire community participated in the great event. Fr. Lieo has enlightened all of us, sharing the life incidents of Don Bosco and the legacy he left on this earth, and inspired us with his homily. After the homily, five of the Brothers from the SIGA community, have submitted their renewal application from and Fr. Dominic Matthew, the Rector of SIGA, received the application forms and blessed all the brothers and wished them all the best. The entire Eucharistic celebration was prayerfully animated and involved the faithful to pray and to know about Don Bosco.
After the Eucharistic celebration, there was a small felicitation programme held. Dr. Sinthya, was the main chief guest for the feast day of Don Bosco. She has delivered her speech and thanked the entire community of SIGA for having invited her and to made a member of the SIGA family. The chief guest was felicitated by Fr. Rector.

At the end of the felicitation, the entire EPCC council was being invited on to the stage and Fr. Lieo has inaugurated the EPCC council. It is the first time that the EPCC council is formed in SIGA Community. It includes all the members form various sectors of the community to discuss and dialogue for the growth and development of the community.

After the felicitation programme, the festive meal was provided for all the college students and other invited chief guests. The feast day went on well and in the afternoon, the cricket match was conducted between the staff and the students. All the students and the staff played vigorously and won the match and also enjoyed in celebrating the feast of Don Bosco
