The past pupils election, meeting was held at SIGA, hosted by the SIGAPPU head, FR. Dominic Matthews. He has commenced the meeting and gave a brief introduction about the meeting and after which Fr. P.T. Joseph, has given some insight on how to take the past pupils unit which included the following points and inputs given by Fr. Dominic Matthews and Fr. P.T. Joseph.
The meeting was organized to elect a secretary for the past pupils unit, who will be directly in charge of the past pupils of SIGA and who will be also coordinating the events happening for the past pupils of SIGA institution. The meeting was also organized to provide a comprehensive understanding of its activities. The meeting began with the prayer and including its objectives and also the current initiatives to be taken for the upcoming year. The primary importance of the meeting was discussed ways to enhance the SIGAPPU past pupils unit, and also the importance of organizing events, reunions, and networking to keep connected with the institution and to help the institution in whatever way possible. The meeting also included the benefits and services that the institution can provide for career support, access facilities for the future generation. The meeting has provided a valuable platform for the past pupils to exchange ideas and insights on various things going to take place in the coming past pupils meetings. The meeting was attended by the SIGAPPU past pupils, to select a new leader to guide the organization in the upcoming term. The meeting was conducted in a transparent manner.
Mr. Santosh was nominated as a candidate and president for the past pupils association, after which he presented his vision and plans for the organization during the meeting. He took the responsibility of leading the association, implementing his vision and fostering connections among the past pupils. The entire team of past pupils congratulated the newly elected member Mr. Santosh, and encouraged him to take the past pupils association forward with great trust and confidence. All the committee heads, Fr. Dominic Matthews, Fr. P.T. Joseph, and Fr. Lieo, congratulated the newly elected president for the past pupils of SIGAPPU, and encouraged him to take the SIGAPPU forward with great strength and support of all the SIGAPPU past pupils.
SIGAPPU has conducted the Unit election today as per the protocols and statutes of Don Bosco Past Pupils Federation and the new team has been elected unopposed under Unit Delegate & Rector: Rev Fr Dominic Matthews
