“God of Abraham, God of Moses, God of Isaac…the gospel reading of this day indicates that even during the days of these noble people there existed a style of living in groups, so I think it is very apt to this special day,” said Rev. Fr John Wilson, Director, Don Bosco Youth Centre, Chennai Province, who was the chief guest for the inauguration of groups and investiture ceremony.  The Eucharistic Celebration was concelebrated by Rev. Fr John Christy, Rector, Fr. P.T. Joseph, Principal and Fr. Anand, Vice Principal.

After the solemn mass the program for the day began with the March Past by groups.  The College Pupil Leader and Assistant College Pupil leader led the March Past which was a visual treat to the spectators.  The leaders and assistant leaders of various groups such as Green, Light Green, Blue, Navy Blue, Grey and Dark Grey were pinned with the badges by the Chief Guest and the oath taking ceremony took place.  The chief guest Rev. Fr Wilson addressed the gathering.  He congratulated all the leaders and wished them all the best.  The program concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the CPL, Jeevanand.
