The chief guest of the Founder’s Day, Mr. Gowthaman, Cine Director shared his experience during the Jallikattu Protests that took place in Chennai.  He urged that the students should standup to uphold the good and traditional and cultural practices of Tamil Nadu.  He told that the students are the backbone of our country and should be in the forefront to fight against social evils.  Mr. Arul Doss, the Guest of Honour also addressed the students on the occasion.  He emphasized that the students should make use of the plentiful sources that are available in SIGA and should make an identity for themselves in the society.
