On January 7,8,9, 2022, a workshop for faculty development was held. The program’s main goal is to improve the faculty’s teaching and innovativeabilities. Prof.J. George Fernandaz, Loyola International Academic Collaboration, Loyola College, Chennai, was the workshop’s keynote speaker. He is a well-known figure in the field of institution innovation. Faculty members contributed ideas, projects, and innovations to the session.
The first session focused on Institutional Innovations, with the goal of soliciting creative ideas from students or creating a forum for them to discuss their ideas. Faculty innovation is required in any institution, in addition to student innovation. It has the potential to take faculty training to the next level.
The faculty members’ creative thoughts were collected in the second session. Different suggestions were presented by the faculties, which were then adopted at the institution. Students, faculties, institutions, and society all benefit from the advances. There were activities and a group discussion session in which the participants took part in a quiz about our institution, a question-and-answer session, and so on…
The last session comprised a presentation of new concepts in front of the audience, as well as a discussion of the ideas.
