“Sports can take your career to great heights,” said Mr. A. Chandrasekaran, Arjuna Awardee, the chief guest for the Sports Meet 2020 held on 15 February, 2020 at SIGA Campus.  He added while delivering his speech to the students that discipline, hard work and integrity are the basics which he learnt from the Christian institutions during his school and college days and that is what shaped him to succeed in his life significantly.  He asked the students to focus upon the talent that God has given to each one and work hard on it.  He said the label “sportsman” helped him to easily cross the hurdles to reach great heights in his life compared to his classmates, but of course not without his hard work and dedication.  He thanked the Salesians for their outstanding contribution in the field of education.

Fr. Anand, Vice Principal, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest.  Fr. John Christy, Rector/Secretary, felicitated the chief guest and presented a memento.  Fr. P.T. Joseph proposed the vote of thanks and wished the chief guest all success in his future endeavours.
